How To Treat Backne

Back acne is more common than many people realize. It can appear in the form of whiteheads, blackheads, pustules and nodules. It is not any different than acne that occurs on the face. However, it can be deeper within the skin and much more painful as the skin on the back is thicker and the pores are deeper. Some people refer to back acne as “backne.”

It is a combination of excessive oil production and dead skin cell shedding in the pores that often begins the formation of back acne. This clogged pore then becomes the perfect breeding ground for a bacteria known as P. acnes bacteria. Bacteria love to breed in areas that have no oxygen and inside of the clogged pore is the perfect environment for it to do just this.

Clogged pores will continue to fill with debris and get bigger and bigger it bursts. Matter is spilled into the surrounding areas and white blood cells come rushing in to help out with the infection. At this point acne becomes inflamed. The further down the follicle where the rupture occurs the worse the acne will be. No more worries, you can fight acne intelligently through pro active solutions.

Why Do You Have Back Acne

Acne is a condition that can affect anyone, and is always caused by 3 factors:-

• Bacteria on the skin known as P. acnes
• Too much sebum production
• Skin cells shedding too fast

These 3 things combine and make your hair follicles erupt into breakouts.

You may wonder why some people have back acne and others don’t, but this is not something that can be explained. Acne is a hard condition to understand and scientists nor doctors know the real causes. Here are a few.

• Hormones
• Foods we eat
• Chemicals in our food and environment
• Stress
• Lack of quality sleep
• Lack of hygiene
• Sweat (which blocks pores)
• Genetics

You can eliminate acne with three steps performed each day.

1. You must kill the bacteria on the skin
2. The excess oil production must be reused
3. Dead skin cells must be removed

You can do these three things by modifying your diet to include plenty of fresh and healthy foods while also eliminating dairy products, foods high in saturated fats and overly processed items.

You can also use over the counter body washes and acne treatments to rid your skin of bacne. Look for a back acne treatment that uses a salicylic acid and you can benefit greatly.
